Fotbal

Fotbal, known as soccer in some countries, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting a spherical ball into the opposing team’s net. It is played on a rectangular field, known as a pitch, with a goal at each end. Players primarily use their feet to control and propel the ball, although they can use any part of their body except their arms and hands, which are restricted to the goalkeeper. The game is governed by a set of rules called the Laws of the Game, maintained by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). Fotbal is widely regarded as one of the most popular sports globally, with significant cultural and social influence in many countries. The sport’s governing body, FIFA, organizes international competitions, including the FIFA World Cup.
